Dog Boarding
Here at the Ranch we welcome and can accommodate extra-small to the extra-large dog breeds and everything in between. Elderly pets hold a special place in our hearts and are most certainly welcome at Sleepy Hollow. We have various services designed to provide extra monitoring and comfort during the senior pets stay.

The pet care team at “the Ranch” monitors each canine guest daily and sends out an online report card each evening. Report cards keep track of eating and potty habits each day and also provide a note on your pet’s general mood for the day. Any concerns are noted on the Pet Health Action Sheet portion of the report card.
Enclosures
The Ranch is an indoor-outdoor facility with sleeping/feeding areas inside and fully enclosed and covered run-areas outside. These areas are separated by clear doors which the staff operates. The doors remain open all day after cleaning, during nice weather, and are closed at night for safety. In the winter months, we give the dogs an opportunity to go outside approximately once an hour, during open hours, for short periods to make sure they don’t get too cold but can have time to do their business. After potty breaks, the pets return to the comfort of their indoor run and cozy mat. Our cement floors are heated underneath in the winter time and stays water-cooled in the summer time.
Each Sleepy Hollow guest has their very own sleeping accommodations and their own attached outdoor exercise/potty area. Dogs in the same family are welcome to share a run if they are compatible, can be fed together, and meet our individual run weight limit criteria. Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priority! Same-family dogs who are not able to share a run can be in side-by-side adjoining runs where they can still see each other.
Bathing
Boarded pets may not necessarily stay as clean as they do at home. Dogs tend to be very active in the kennel and pottying mainly takes place on the concrete ground in the outside run. We have found that while gravelly and grassy areas absorb better, they quickly become dusty and muddy and they are impossible to properly disinfect. We chose concrete as the best flooring solution for a cleaner pet during their stay. Our staff is diligent in scooping and cleaning runs but dogs can become messy. To ensure a happy and sweet-smelling homecoming, you may want to schedule a bath for your dog before going home.
